Giving Tuesday is a yearly, global movement born from the reach of social media and fueled by the power of giving. We see Giving Tuesday as an alternative to the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday and a chance to spend time and money in less consumptive ways.  Join us on this day of global generosity and compassion!

Giving Tuesday was founded in 2012. Every year the movement has grown to reach millions in countries all around the world.¹

2022 - FOUR PAWS’ Boston-based office coordinated with our colleagues in Southeast Asia to raise enough money to bring over 9 dogs rescued from the Cambodian dog meat trade.

2021 - Surpassed our goal with over $100,000 raised thanks to the generosity of our supporters, and with the help of our Giving Tuesday partner Pawthereum who matched donations. We were able to transformed a key adoption and rescue center in Siem Reap, Cambodia, and strengthen our work to protect companion animals and end the dog and cat meat trade.

2020 - We closed a notorious cat slaughterhouse in Vietnam and raised donations to transfer 8 rescued cats to the US: All have been adopted to loving homes. We harnessed the momentum of Black Friday to turn the attention the cat meat trade using the slogan 'Black Cats for Black Friday'. We also were able to bring 11 more dogs over from Cambodia to California during at the end of November.
