In times of emergencies, we have to be ready to act fast. Together with our partners, we instantly rushed to help. Only a few days after the war began, we started helping people fleeing with their pets at the borders in Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Moldova.
We provide them with much-needed items such as food, bowls, transport cages, leashes, collars, toys, and blankets. To make sure the animals are prepared for the next step in their journeys, our veterinarians provide free first aid care as well as deworming, microchipping, and vaccination against rabies.
Moreover, we have already delivered food to Vinnytsia shelter in Ukraine which will feed approximately 320 dogs for about one month, and are working with partners on how to help longer-term
Help is needed everywhere. Will you make a gift and help us keep doing this vital work?
FOUR PAWS in Ukraine
Our BEAR SANCTUARY Domazhyr is the home of 33 bears, rescued from horrible keeping conditions. It is located in the western part of the country. Air attacks have been reported in this part of the country as well but our dedicated team stayed at the sanctuary, in order to take care of the bears. Despite the terrifying circumstances, they all are currently doing well, animals and humans alike.
10 years ago, we launched our Stray Animal Care program and helped homeless dogs and cats in over 60 municipalities. Only last year, we managed to sterilize and vaccinate more than 3.000 strays. In order to protect our team, we had to pause our activities but we are already looking for ways to help these dogs and cats as soon as the situation allows it.
Animals need us more than ever.
And we won’t leave them behind. Please make a gift today and support our mission in Ukraine.
Once our project goal is reached, FOUR PAWS reserves the right to use your gift where the need is greatest. Your gift to the Live Kinder Fund supports all aspects of our emergency rescue missions, like the one currently on-going in the Ukraine.
